From Sri Sivaa Textiles to Vimayam
In 1995 Mr. K. C. Karunanithi founded Sri Sivaa Textiles and began producing pure silk dhotis and fabrics, supplying them across India. Sri Sivaa Textiles dealt only in pure silk dhotis, shirtings and angavastram.
In 2020 Mr. K. Anbalagan Karunanithi brought the business online as Sri Bal Ganesh Textiles under the brand Vimayam. Until 2022 Vimayam focused on silk dhotis and fabrics; in 2023 cotton fabrics, pooja dhotis, angavastram and towels joined, sold on our own store and on Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho. Today every dhoti and pooja item we make is in one place.
